1. Using ModenZ
These terms cover modenz.style, Jurnal, Atelier Tools, downloadable style guides and these same web features offered through ModenZ apps. “ModenZ”, “we” and “our” refer to the ModenZ service publisher. Contact us at support@modenz.style.
Using these services means you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using them. You must be able to enter a binding agreement under applicable law, or use the service with a parent or guardian where appropriate. The service is not intended for children under 13.
2. What we offer
ModenZ provides fashion inspiration, educational stories, clothing and tailoring calculators, approximate body-shape suggestions and downloadable guides. This website is free to explore without an account, checkout or paid subscription.
The current fitting room is a moodboard preview that displays a photo in your browser. It does not analyse the photo, virtually fit garments or verify clothing size. Future AI features and native app services may have additional terms, permissions and privacy disclosures presented when those features become available.
3. Understanding suggestions and calculations
Style suggestions are starting points, not rules about your body. Body-shape categories are approximate styling references, not medical assessments, measures of health or judgements of attractiveness.
Calculations depend on your inputs and the stated assumptions. Check units, fabric properties, allowances, pattern instructions and actual garment measurements before cutting fabric, shopping or altering a garment. Results, images and guides do not guarantee fit, sizing, fabric consumption or appearance.
Some editorial images are AI-generated illustrations of outfit ideas, not product listings or evidence of how an item will look on you. A PDF uses a prepared template for the chosen category; it is not an individually verified fitting consultation.
4. Your responsibilities
Use the service lawfully and respectfully. Give accurate information when you choose to use a tool or request support, and provide only photos or material you have the right to use.
- Do not access others’ data, bypass safeguards, misuse forms or disrupt availability.
- Do not send unlawful, abusive, infringing or malicious material.
- Do not automate requests in a way that harms the service or evades its limits.
- Do not present general ModenZ guidance as a professional certification or guaranteed result.
We may restrict abusive requests where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or legal obligations.
5. Content and permissions
ModenZ articles, design, branding, original visual assets, code and guides are protected by intellectual-property laws to the extent those laws apply. You may read the content, link to public pages, use the tools and keep a downloaded guide for personal use.
For permission to republish articles, distribute guides commercially or use our branding, email support@modenz.style. These terms do not limit quotation, fair use or other rights permitted by law.
You retain your rights in material you provide. The browser-only preview does not transfer ownership of your photo or give us permission to train an AI model with it. Material sent to support is used as reasonably necessary to address your request and as described in our privacy policy.
6. Privacy, guides and communications
Our Privacy Policy describes information handling. A photo selected for the current preview is not uploaded. Measurements submitted to the style finder are processed for a result, not saved as a measurement profile.
Unlocking a guide currently requires an email and consent to store the request. It creates a downloadable PDF link, not an email delivery. Optional future styling updates have a separate, unchecked choice. You may withdraw that choice or request record deletion by contacting support.
A result token or download link can disclose your guide category to someone you share it with. Links may expire; you can request a new guide through the style finder.
7. Availability, app stores and external links
Pages and tools may be interrupted, updated or withdrawn. We do not promise uninterrupted access or support for every device.
Find official app links on our Download page when available. Store availability, device requirements and any app-specific purchases are governed by the relevant store listing and terms shown with that app. These website terms do not replace Apple or Google platform terms.
Research links, third-party sites and app stores have their own content, availability, policies and terms.
8. Responsibility and your rights
We aim for accurate, useful content, but information can contain errors or become outdated. To the extent permitted by law, the service and guidance are provided as available, without a promise to satisfy every particular need.
To the extent permitted by law, ModenZ is not responsible for indirect losses caused by reliance on general suggestions, incorrect inputs or third-party services. Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or takes away mandatory consumer, privacy or other statutory rights.
If something concerns you, contact us with the relevant page or tool and a description so we can try to resolve it. Mandatory laws and courts with jurisdiction remain available; you do not waive those rights.
9. Changes and contact
We may revise these terms as the service develops. The effective date above identifies this version. Material changes to an ongoing service will receive notice appropriate to the change and required by law.
